Babylon5...in TRUE 3D. :)

OK, so I guess this really goes in the rendering forum, but this just looks so cool! and most people never go to the rendering forum, sooo.

After seeing Kakaze's thread at the B5MG, I HAD to try out the sterioscopic 3D method.

just let your eyes unfocus, and get the two images to form a third image in between the other two. they will align, and you will see a *true* 3D image!!!

• If I had enough consentration hahhaa. But yeah, very very cool idea!!

this is not how you do it.
what you are talking about is stereoscopic imagery. different than this. you need a stereoscope! I have one, too.

Hey, I'm an OLD fan of stereoscopic images. A few years back I was so into them, I even had problems getting my eyesight back to normal after being cross-eyed so long. Still, even to me those images are a tad too small & far apart. I only had the concentration to try the upper one, and the Nial is a nice touch.

You know, I remember one actual game review where they said that this "blur-image" method was tried to create a true-3d feel in a game. Sadly, I don't remember the name of the game.
Wonder how well one could focus on a moving picture?

I got some stereoscopic glasses (or what they are) got them together with my Asus Geforce 3 Deluxe card, pretty cool to use
• BigglesBiggles The Man Without a Face
How did you make them, A2? Lightwave has an option to render things stereoscopically.

• render the first image as normal.
name is sterioLEFT

move the camera a tad to the right (SMALL AMOUNT) render and name sterioRIGHT.

in PSP open them both, and REVERSE the left and right, and you have a sterioscopic image!

• From SANFAM:

Could you please post this?
"I'm sorry, but this is actually not described properly. It is stereoscopic imagery. It requires a stereoscope to work properly (which can be easily made out of cardboard, as I'll show if time permits)."
apparently, my account "no longer exists," but when I register, "that name is currently in use"
