A popular game known as "Star Trek Armada" has a very large Event comming soon. Several hundred B5 ITF fans have alredy purchased this game for the sole purpose of playing the Nearly complete "Into The Fire total conversion" for the game.
Heres how it works.
We all know command and conquer right?
if not then War craft, or star craft, or other related games.
Armada is a game based on that engine(though completly unique). Armada is also the easiest of these games to Moddify(especialy for SCIFI). Though Many have tried, No one has yet created a worthy, or tolerable B5 Mod. So... A group known as "Battle Stations" has begun and nearly finished a Total conversion for the game called "Into the Fire". This is a very realistic, detailed coversion which will turn every aspect of armada into a B5 game. It has been a large project and will carry a hefty disk space requirment to match, but will please all of you ITF patient fans.
This TC is already receiving alot of press, and is highly anticipated to be realesed shortly. It will be freeware and d/l from stamods.mindlessgames.com when complete.

whatever that means.....Sierra has no grounds over ITF tc because it is not a game or purchasable. it is a major moddification and freeware.

Heh, thats funny because it was only a 10MB download for me. [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/biggrin.gif[/img] Thats because I was smart enough to get the streaming installer instead. [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/biggrin.gif[/img] It checks your system and grabs what you need, instead of all 100 something megs. [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/tongue.gif[/img]

1/2 MBit? @Home's theoretical cap is 3 MBit, and Roadrunner's probably near the same. At best, though, I see near 300 KBytes/sec from good sites with nice, fat pipes and few visitors at the time.
