Then you can spend your pension on them!
Note: For the sarcasm impaired, I was saying we'll all be old and retiered by the time that they come out, as a gross exageration. I was not implying that Worf will be old and retired in five years.
And the Episode 1 DVD has NOT been out for a while....if you already have it, you've either got the Japanese bootleg, or you managed to get the official DVD early. Here in the US, the DVD streets on Tuesday.

My point is this:

Don't you mean all 9 episodes (maybe even 10 with that crappy Ewok movie)? We all might be retiring by the time that happens. LOL

No, there are only six.
EP1: The Phantom Menace
EP2: Attack of the Clones (goofy ass name if you ask me)
EP3: n/a
EP4: A New Hope
EP5: Empire Strikes Back
EP6: Return of the Jedi
Where you got nine from..I don't have a clue. I can see 8 if you count the SW holiday special and the Ewok movie...
Episode VII and Beyond
Wasn't Star Wars going to be nine or more parts? Will sequels be made set after Return of the Jedi?
Early on in the saga's development, some thought was given to have a trilogy set after Return of the Jedi. George Lucas has long since changed his mind, and the entire Star Wars saga will now encompass six episodes, starting with The Phantom Menace, and ending with Return of the Jedi. There will be no future Star Wars films set after Return of the Jedi.
I still reckon he'll try to do them all. After all, the last three are largely written in the form of the books.

Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure (1984)
Really, REALLY crap. Be grateful you've never seen it.
I hadn't heard of "The Star Wars Holiday Special". This must have been truly awful, since it had all the cast (Han, Luke, Leia, Darth, Chewy) and I've never seen it aired.
Maybe Lucas will make a telemovie about Jarjar and his family... on the other hand, let's no give him any stupid ideas. There's enough suffering in the World already.
BTW: Starcruiser crash!!!

The holiday special thing was, I'm fairly sure, a cartoon.

[b](silly him for allowing people to write whatever they wanted about it).

You make it sound bad. A collection of perhaps 20 authors, collectively and individually, have written a massive volume of excellent SW fiction. The great thing is, it all ties in to a single storyline, and is regulated by some committee organisation who approve new plot lines.
Unfortunately someone has started a new set, that continues AFTER the surrender of the empire to the new republic. Its silly.
Most of the Star Wars books have been good (like the Thrawn Trilogy) and some have been bad. I think the new series is good but definatly not the best of Star Wars.

The era of the Jedi Sith Lords thousands of years before the Star Wars saga, and the things that culminated in the Valley of the Jedi being created, other long forgotten places, people, and times heavy in the Force etc... that kind of thing.
It's this same thing that intrigues me about the Babylon 5 universe. I want to know about Valen's war in greater detail, how the First Ones came into being, how the Shadow and Vorlons came to power etc. Much of this is eluded to, but never really expanded on. For this reason I enjoyed "War without End", "Thirdspace", etc.
Given that this is all make believe and created from the mind of some talented individuals, you'd think we would have seen more than we have...

no, it was a made-for-tv live action thing which while I haven't seen it in its entirety, from the little bits I've seen and read was pretty dire.
I also read that Lucas would destroy every
last copy he can get his hands on.
