The Matrix has me....

So in a little over a month, [i]The Matrix: Reloaded[/i] hits theaters, and I'm getting really psyched about it.

At the same time, the Matrix computer game will hit store shelves.

And in June, the [i]Animatrix[/i] DVD will be released.

I started doing some Matrix art just 'cause I was in the mood....

    Those are some damn good drawings.

    I have to say that I'm not hugely excited about The Matrix: Reloaded. I think it's because that I know it could quite easily suck by comparison with the first one, so if I don't get overexcited I can't be let down, but I can still easily enjoy it heaps.

    I like those last two - they're very much in the way of the crisp, cell-shaded, kind of artwork that's becoming very fashionable these days... especially in games (have a search online for a Gamecube title called something like 'killer 7').

    Yeah... except for that wierd shadow playing acrossed his chin...

    That's likely a result of the cell shader's decisions in regards to color zones and replacement color choices.

    Actually, I rotoscoped the image by hand from a real photograph. The shadow on his chin is really there.
