We came up with some great ideas for uses of the grapple. The best one was hooking another fighter, then propelling it as fast as possible towards its mothership, then letting go and firing reverse thrusters at the last possible moment. [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif[/img]

No, the grapple was not implemented in ItF.
I'll let Dan and the other programmers elaborate on how short it was...

Hooking the grapple into a disabled Raider ship and smashing it into their support ship seemed a nice idea though ...
Exactly what i was thinking. Also could have tried to grapple a Nial and slam it into a Sharlin during the Minbari War.
