That cavalcade of annoying and useless unskippable advertising screens actually fits to most games done in last decade.
Well, not that games are only offender... those animations along all that copyright crap screens and horrible loading times especially in case of Blu-ray makes you feel that they want you to pirate those movies.

But they definitely forgot auto aim for console players. (read about crying of console gamers for Crysis 2 MP demo not having one)

    The unskippable intro things are annoying me like hell. Some are somewhat smart that make you only watch them first time playing. But other than that it is annoying as hell.

    If Quake was made today, I would still not play it. ID has yet to make a great game, they do make great engines though. :)

    Actually, that project fixed a lot of the bugs, that were left unattended by Parallax. The weapons are no longer FPS dependent, and the reticle will scale properly with whatever resolution you choose. It even has built-in support for modern music file formats. (mp3, oog, etc)
