Actually it's mostly cabinet repair, I've got to replace the microswitches on the joystick (only 2 of them work) and check all the wiring to make sure it's in good shape, at some point i'd like to replace the CRT, but thats for the future.

Neat! Pity its not Tron lightcycle racing tho! :p

Actually i'd prefer a Discs of Tron if I could find one. This one was free, so i couldn't turn it down.

Man... Look at the phosphor burn in the picture tube!

Lol, Yeah, thats what you'd expect for a CRT that's had the exact same thing on it for 30 years! I'll try and get a better pic of the CRT and you can REALLY see the burn!

Now that you mention it, what I'd really like is my own Olivia Wilde in there! Phworrr! :D

I think my wife MIGHT have an issue with having Olivia Wilde in my game room...

My favorites of the arcade era were Sinistar, Moon Patrol, Galaxian, Galaga, and Defender.

One of the last hold-outs of the old-school arcade was Gunther's Games in downtown Columbia Mo. How many dollars did I sink into that place trying to release stress after uni classes. It was a good mix of classics (1941, Galaga, Ivan Stewart's Off-road, Bomberman) and more up to date games, such as Soul Caliber, Rush, Time Crisis (up to date for 1998 anyway). It finally closed in 2007

imhotep, There is a Star Wars available not too far from me, and i WANT it, but the guy is asking $1200, and I just can't afford it, IF he somehow does not sell it by this summer. It's mine!

And my favorites were Defender, Joust, Robotron 2084, Blaster, and Gauntlet. (plus the vector Star Wars and Star Trek arcade games)

Arcades are still going strong here.

In the vector world I loved Tailgunner... :)

Actually i've never come across one of the sit-downs for sale, i'm not sure how many of them survived.

$1200 is actually not bad, Most of the more popular 80's arcade games sell in the $1500-$3500 range. The only other SW Standup i've seen lately is on Ebay for $1800 (plus around $400 in shipping)
