Possibly a story in the making

After a [url="http://homepage.mac.com/david_of_mac/.Pictures/Star%20Trek/Confrence.jpg"]confrence[/url], the crew of the [i]Delta Flyer[/i] are told of a huge device which may be a help to them on their quest to get home. It is located near a planet at the edge of the system, near the outermost planet. Before they leave to investigate, the voyagers are warned that huge, dark and fearsome ships have been sighted near there, and for the better part of a year, almost every ship that has strayed near there has been lost. The [i]Flyer[/i] then warps into the area and [url="http://homepage.mac.com/david_of_mac/.Pictures/Crossovers/Artifact.jpg"]finds what appears to be a kind of wormhole generator.[/url] Their investigations are cut short, however when [url="http://homepage.mac.com/david_of_mac/.Pictures/Crossovers/Escape.jpg"]two small fighter craft which have an odd biological coating on the hull and in several key systems arrive.[/url] The crew of the [i]Flyer[/i] quickly come to the conclusion that the new arivals arn't in a talking mood, and quickly warp back to [i]Voyager[/i] to report their findings.
Oh, yes, one more thing: Sensor scans indicated that the pilots of the fighters were human. Stranger and stranger.
