I think it's just a glitch, I couldn't save my signature after I modified it and it had only 5 lines. I don't know what the true limit is.

We've always had a 5 line limit to signatures. Go read the rules forum. :)

Well, I was able to use the signature before the upgrade, and then I couldn't save it after the upgrade without having added more text, so you tell me why?! :D

You probably ran into the character limit (which I've just increased - we're still figuring out how much of this works and the default was, as it turns out, pretty tiny).
