Anyone else into it? I recently found out about it (it was also a nice first date) and figured there might just be some cachers on here too.

actually i have found that combining boating and geocaching is quite fun...

my son likens it tp being a pirate and looking for buried treasure.

I want to try it, but i have 2 problems, my GPS unit doesn't seem to be more accurate in my area than a 10-20 yard range.

#2, 99% of the area here is parkland, and official caching is not permitted, so there are a lot of "Virtual Caches" things like "There is a pretty rock here, go find it"

and "we found the beach that John Jacob Astor was once sick on, find it at this location" blah blah blah.

This sounds frakkin cool as hell! Now I have an even better reason to get GPS equipment. :D
