wolfs shipyard needs ur help!

Well, we wanna turn Canis's site into a place to showcase original designs for already existing universes (starting with B5, probably Star Wars and Star trek, and going from there). Ideally, we'd like to do both 2d and 3d drawings/pic, and possibly at somepoint allow models to be stored. We have a server (although if there is anyone else with a server and server experince, we would welcome it). So effectively, we are looking for help in general on how to set it up, and any ideas on how to expand it.
ps. - people can submit a design that has been rendered in 3d, but nothing beyond that.
