B5:ITF demo released maybe????

Any chance that the demo for the game could slip out??? Or could the code for the game be finished by dedicated fans(made open so others could work on it)???? Just reaching and hoping that somehow we could have something to play with.

    Nope.

    Last I heard the demo was in shape to be released with a mag, the b5 mag if memory serves correctly. The source of the cd would never have to be disclosed.....

    It was almost finished, but not completely. But again, Sierra is the only "entity" that can legally have copies of the demo.

    Anyway, I think to release the demo now would be quite cruel, because it would only make us pine for the game more, and seeing as we probably won't get the game we want...however...it would still be nice to have at least a part of the game.

    Whos more wrong? Sierra for canceling the game, or someone who likes the game alot and wants to see it finished??

    The issue isn't "who's more wrong?"... wrong is wrong, and in this case, the degree of "wrongness" doesn't really enter into it.

    As for the demo: Simply no. It cannot be done, and if it were to be done, it would cause harm to those who we love so much: the devs! It would also be quite illegal. ITF is done with. It is no more. It has ceased to be. It has crossed over, and if it wasn't nailed to the floor, it would be pushing up dasies!
