This is the Office of the President of the Interstellar Alliance.

The First Prototype President Class Battelcruiser, the John Sheridan, designed and built to compliment the Victory Class Destroyer has just arrived at the selected proving grounds. At this location she is expected to encounter heavy enemy resistance. Her orders are to eradicate all enemy forces before disengaging and leaving the area.

There is no backup for the "John Sheridan". If things go badly she will be destroyed, however we have the fullest confidence in this ship and her crew. This proving mission is under the direct command of Admiral Gideon, the man who commanded the Excalibour, the Vicory Class destroyer that found a cure to the Drakh plague of Earth.

Comments? (The Drakh are allways spoiling for a fight at their old Homeworld)

I'll give ya a long list of commments on this one Eternity:
    - Considering the proximity of that sun, and it's intense yellow colour, I'd expect the ship to be bathed in a lot of yellow light, as opposed to the white light you've got on it now. It would also be cool to give the sun a texture, with sun spots and such, to break it up a bit.
    - The lense flare is pretty off the wall. The purple is too intense I think, and the whole thing doesn't quite line up with the sun. It should appear as if it's coming from the centre of the sun.
    - The stars are way to bright and too big in the background. Considering how close we are to the sun here, it's light would be washing everything else out. It's better to cheat things a little though, so don't take the stars or the nebula out, but maybe subdue them a bit.
    - Looks like there's a bit of a rendering error on a piece of the top pylon on the ship. It's completely black, might want to look at that.
    - Needs shadows. This would also make the shot more dramatic, since you'd probably end up with a lot of the ship being dark. It'll really help show off the window textures.
    - I think the textures need a bit of work. The ship looks very plastic. Some spec maps would be great, and more of a sense of metal in the colour maps.

That's about it for now. The windows are working well enough, and they really give a sense of the ship's size. They'd be even better in a darker setting. The model detail looks good from this distance too, although some texture detail would be good. Just a few things to keep in mind for the next image, or if you decide to go back to this one.
