So. When do we get to play ITF?
(yes I heard that the last option failed...)
Seems to me that if Sector 14 is now done trying (and a fantastic try it was! so don't get me wrong, you guys gave YEARS of your lives in these many couragous and brilliant attempts, and we thank you)
now we average 'biggles's' and 'warleader's's' can start making demands without stepping on any dev toes.
Am I wrong?
Can we start getting creative?
Are there any last dev attempts that we might mess up? I ask just to be safe, but if there isn't and there is no danger of messing anyone's plans up, then lets start solving this little snag.
I will start:
1) Convince sierra that B5 ITF code, video, etc should be freely given back to Warner, to give freely to SCIFI as a good will gesture.
2) convince sierra, warner, scifi or anyone that has a legal interest in the remains of this game that it should be freely released as an open source game for the fans to finish...
3) conduct a commando style 'liberation' of the remains (just joking about that one...)
4) Buy it.
5) Buy Sierra and get the code as a bonus... (actually, Havas might part with Sierra...)
6) buy Havas...
7) Ask the Sierra janitor if he ever finds game code and footage in the trash cans, could he keep it for us...
8) Become president of sierra...
9) or president of havas...
10) sue someone...
11) become the janitor at sierra...
12) offer to help them 'clean up' in the spring...
13) convince sierra to release a RANGERS game, using the old code... (ya I know, they won't get a licence...)
see, there are LOTS of ways this could work...
