Ahhhh! My wife is a Minbari!!!

Ok, kiddies, my wife (whom I have semi-converted to the dark side) wants to be a Minbari for Halloween. I think she would probably look dam close to Delenn if we could do this. Since I ran all out of those crystal thingies when I turned myself into Garibaldi's twin brother, I need to find some way to do this via conventional means. Mainly, how could I get the bone head piece, is there a prop store I could rent/lease it from, or could I make one? The rest of the makeup she can do with a good picture of Delenn for reference. (I need one of those too) Any help would be greatly appreciated! If we can do this, I promise I'll post some pics here of her when she's all done!

It may take a few goes to get the mix right.
You should be able to attach the head piece using hairpins I guess although the whole thing would be more stable if you could embed something like a piece of coat-hanger wire into it so that it could be used to hold its shape and even grip the head slightly.
Latex can be painted with pretty much anything even car spray paint but I find acrylics work well because it flexes and the paint doesn't flake off or crack.
