Just got the demo installed and tried it out. Man that's probably the best game I've ever played! I'm totally hooked now! Definitely got to get the game when it comes out! [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/icons/icon10.gif[/img]

The full version is well worth the $$. It's the most fun I've had playing on-line since I got UT and cable going.

Some things I've learned playing it...
Jeeps are now offically land torpedos.
Palm trees are some of the best anti-aircraft weapons around.
Soldiers carry parachutes everywhere, all the time.
When circle strafing, bullets aparently fly slower, since you have to aim 3 feet ahead of the enemy.
When in a gun turrent, your spotter will spawn as assault.
For no reason, a Sherman can take out a TigerII with a single frontal shot....if you're in the Tiger.(wtf?)
The Corsair really in an Ensign eliminator.

Love the game as well..Been playing it for the last 2 weeks...

Looks especially awsome with all the graphics settings maxed out(1600*1200 32 bit)....Pets his ATI 9700 card... [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/biggrin.gif[/img].

How the heck did you get that kind of a resolution? I only have 1280 x 960 x 32 the best to choose from.

Depends mostly on the monitor you're using,since the video card uses the monitor's DCC info and displays the all the possible options as far as screen resolution goes...

Then it's just a matter if the game itself actually supports resolutions that high in the first place...

Currently i'm using a 19" monitor(LG 915 ft plus)Which handles 1600*1200 at 85hz refresh...

Essentially,the resolution options you have depend mostly on what your monitor can handle...

Yeah I know that and I have only 17" monitor but it can show up to 1280 x 1024 x 32, so the most accurate resolution I could use isn't available in the game. In all the other games I can get the 1280 x 1024 x 32.

Guess then that it's the game itself that goes from say 1024*768 to 1280*960 and 1600*1200...It's doesn't support that particular resolution(1280*1024)...


But if you think about it,it actually makes sence since the the resolutions i mentioned above maintain the exact 4/3 aspect ratio of the monitor itself...1280*1024 doesn't..It Would make the game characters look like they put on an extra 20lbs...LOL
