Did We or Not?

ArgoneArgone Genuine Klingon
With NASA's new book out trying to prove that we landed on the moon, what do you believe?

Me for one believe we did!

Of course we did; those stating otherwise are just nincompoops looking for their fifteen minutes of fame, or the morons who follow them.

There is no conspiracy. Now, just face away from that window over there, that's right....

Of course. Only not when they said they did.

If you believe we didn't, I suggest you to learn a thing or two about physics and science. The only reason that theory has gotten spread so far is because people are ignorant and stupid.

    Slade's completely correct...

And if we hadn't been there then, we sure would have by now - and that would have definately made news. So the only explanation is we DID go there back then.

About half a million people worked on the moon project, including employees of the various contractors. Now there are three possibilities here:

    1) We went to the moon.

    2) We convinced 500,000 people to be quiet about faking a trip to the moon, despite tabloid offers of loads of cash to demonstrate otherwise.

    3) We had a small group of people build such convincing technology that we would be able to go to the moon that it fooled the rest of the 500,000 people into thinking we could and did.

#1 is obvious. no conpsiracy, no problem.

#2 is ridiculous. 2 people knowing a secret is 2 too many. It would have gotten out.

#3 is silly. Making technology that would be able to make it to the moon but not going leaves only the question of "why not?" If we built stuff well enough to fool all the people actually making it, it would have worked. If it worked, why would we not have used it?

It makes you wonder tho how they actually did it with such primitive technology. And then it makes you think that since the tech now is lightyears ahead (no pun intended) from that, Mars should probably be trying to declare independence by now...

BBC News reports on NASA's decision to take on long-standing claims that the Moon landings were faked by hiring aerospace writer James Oberg to dismantle the claims in a book.

The announcement comes on the heels of former astronaut Buzz Aldrin's September encounter with filmmaker Bart Sibrel, who had demanded Aldrin swear on a Bible that Aldrin had actually walked on the Moon.

Aldrin punched the man in the face.

We did and I do indeed believe (of course ).

Personally, I think NASA is wasting its time and money on this. Those who can or will believe already do or will do so, and those who won't... well, I suppose every generation has to have its cave dwellers.
