LW 7 - Help with Refreaction...

Anyone familiar with Lightwave 7 and it's capabilities for Refraction?

I have a singularity object I'd like to have actually bend light at it's edges...

Thanks!

Make the outer edge another surface. Then you need to set it's refraction properties. You need to duplicate this surface and flip the polygons, then put the refraction properties of the reverse-facing polygons as the refraction index of whatever is surrounding the singularity (in this case probably a vacuum, so 1.0 I think). Of course, you probably already knew all that, but I'm just trying to sound intelligent.
