Beachball threads....

Really, what is the appeal of the beachball threads?

I've never participated in one because I just don't see the point. Can anyone enlighten me? It seems to me like another attempt to just bump up people's post counts, which I find lame and a waste of bandwidth. But maybe there's something I'm missing.

I'm with you on that one Samuelk!!! Besides the people here are miserable at it - the beachball has hit the sand (bottom of the page) on more than one occasion - and yet they chalk it up as another successful one.

Failures that what you beachball lovers are AAAHAHAHA!!! I'm only posting this because if I got to bed and close my eyes the room starts spinning and I'll throw up… :o
