Rogue TraderRogue Trader Somebody stop him...
Im easily bored, especially when i am not doing something. And when its coming to the internet im getting more and more bored with it. My problem with it is that i for some reason have always had trouble finding stuff on the net (thank god for google) and by stuff i mean cool and decent websites say like www.evilavatar.com stuff i can go too everyday and see meaningful updates.

when i have had the rare occurance to show someone a new website that they have really enjoyed, like www.sexylosers.com (WARNING: The Sexylosers site contains nudity, and is NOT Work-Safe) and vice versa when someone showed me a website that i now visit everyday for some cool stuff, say like www.davisdvd.com

I think sluggy has really gone down hill in the past year and a half or so. The current story line is quite cool, and the convergence of the saturday and normal strip stories was impressive, but it really isn't as good as it used to be.
  • BekennBekenn Sinclair's Duck
Oh, very much agreed. I haven't actually been reading the Saturdays for some time; Ian McDonald's brand of humor just isn't right for Sluggy. And Pete doesn't seem to be doing as well as he used to, either. Unfortunate, really, but I guess the greatness of old couldn't last forever.

It's worth reading the saturday ones to see how they fit into the main story.
I think the reason it's gone downhill is because it's been going for 7 days a week for nearly 7 years. The world has pretty much been exhausted. For me, the good stuff ended after Fire and Rain. Personally, I think he should tie up sluggy and start a new strip. Same style of humour, different stories.

Could be. But, then again, Schlock Mercenary has been going for four years without missing even a single day, and it continues to be my favorite out of all of them. I guess we'll see where that one is in another three years.
