    Thanks. The main difference between that tutorial and my lightsabre is the lens flare. Otherwise it's the same thing.

    bleh, I use 3dsmax for stuff like that. I find it does a much better job than a 2D proggy. :)

    Now that I found my old laser tag gun that I had when I was the wee age of 5....I guess I should prove it. :D

    I see the difference you think should be there.... My lightsabre has a blade attached, so I had to make the line wide enough to cover it.

    I still think it looks good.

    Old Lazer Tag guns? Always good. I have enough 1st generation Lazer Tag stuff for 8 people. Same with the 2nd generation stuff, too. Have not gotten any of the new stuff, would rather spend the cash on other things.

    Definitely not a professional job with the lighting on my coat or my face, but what do you expect from a 2 minute job in Photoshop? ;) The lens flare and the beam were done in 3dsmax6. I had to fix a slight "band of brightness" contrast issue in Photoshop, and added the lighting just for the hell of it.

    (for those that are wondering what I'm shooting at, the angle of the beam would put it hitting my POS RCA TV dead center of the tube. ;) )
