the only thing I got to complain about is the white edge, maybe it's just me or maybe it's the way you ment it to look, but those whipers look copy/pasted into the image. :alien:

I wanted to evoke the feeling that it was a drawing, with the black of space drawn after the ships... Though i don't seem to be able to find any reference that could have put that idea in my mind...

That said, i do think that the white border could be a bit thinner... i'll put it on a diet...

What did you do that in? I know Rhino can do Toon type renders, but I doubt you have Rhino.

nope, wasn't rhino ;)

Ships wer done in 3ds max (has a cellshading texture since... max 5 i believe)
