Spring FirstOnes Meetup...

So the idea was tossed around a bit, and some of us are apparently interested.

I'm investigating the possibility of a decent sized group of us making a trek to some location, perhaps in the continental United States, perhaps not, and doing something.

One idea seeming to be especially popular is a trip to Las Vegas, with the focal point being Star Trek: The Experience, but we could always choose any of the countless other destinations accessible to so many of us. So...thoughts?

    My thoughts are about the dates as well as place... depends on who is really interested etc...

    My Christmas break is from:
    Dec 18th, 2006 - Jan 22nd 2007
    (three weeks of me doing nothing in Jan)

    My spring break is from:
    March 18, 2007 - March 25, 2007

    BUT I don't have classes on Fridays so any weekend is a possibility, depending on where we go...

    OR if you all wanted to come to NY, I could meet up anytime ;)

    I've been to Star Trek: The Experience its not an experience...

    I saw no walking klingons or romulan waiters...Its supposed to represent DS9 I believe it left me really dissapointed.

    Seriously though, are people actually interested in doing something like this? When would you want to do it? How much time to people (looking at you Worf and Biggles and anyone else who is non-contential US) need to prepare for such a meeting?

    Also, Dax and I are heading up to Nova Scotia this tuesday for a seven-day journey. If anybody is between here and there and wants to meet up, let us know. We'll be driving to Bangor, Maine Tuesday and then to New Glasgow Wednesday, with the same being repeated in reverse...Monday and Tuesday, right?

    from NY - Bangor, Tuesday 21st then
    Bangor- Nova Scotia, Wed 22nd...
    then Nova Scotia- Bangor, Mon 27th and
    Bangor- NY, Tues 28th..
