Let me ask: what is wrong with Beach Ball? It keeps people happy with a place to post nonsense without it interfering with the rest of the forum. Frankly, I never leave Zocalo, and I'm sure a lot of others are like me.

And guess what? This thread, another nutty thread like Beach Ball, has me back every day!
So...again I ask: Is sating the desire to have a "no-spam" forum so important that you people no longer have the interest they had before for the forums? It isn't that they are drawn to spamming as much as insanity is a founding principle of Firstones, and without that insanity, it just isn't the same.

As for the insanity: it's still very much present. It's still on the boards. It's just that the spam version is in a separate forum. Personally, I come here because the founding principle of firstones is a community, not spamming. :p

Amazingly, I *have* been backing it up. I've got a nice collection right now of archived versions. One every other week, with some on a weekly basis.
